Animals are wonderful to work with as they don't have to reason why? Or how? Reiki works..... They just except.
As a human, if you ever questioned the ability of Reiki, watch how an animal accepts the energy and the quiet, self healing process immediately after a session as well as the improvement in the behaviour, illness or injury going forward.
Animals are far more perceptive than us humans and understand how energy is a first instinct. This is why they know where to go instinctually on mass migrations or become more aggressive or protective around certain people.
But just like humans, there are certain animals that do not want to accept the energy. Reiki cannot be forced on anyone or anything. We are just a vessel for the energy and a bystander watching the participant self heal. It is a beautiful thing!
