To connect to your intuition, you first have to connect to you

When it comes to intuition and healing, many people look externally, but you cannot unlock the magic of either unless you connect with your body.

I observe people meditating to their guides but still don't connect with them. They return to holistic healers time and time again, but still don't heal. Or even have talk therapy and still feel anxious or traumatised. The reason these things are not working is not because of the therapist or guided meditation, but because you are not connected to your body; therefore, you are missing the signs and signals. Our bodies are our alert system, and quite often the reason why we are sick, in pain, or anxious is because we haven't been "in" our body and listening to our alert system.

A classic sign of someone with anxiety is rushing ahead with thoughts and plans. This is a behaviour of fight or flight, to prepare for every possible event to keep themself safe, but by doing this, not only are they worrying about things that may not happen, but also looking externally for the answers. My first question to these clients is: how does it feel in your body?

In that split second, you take the person out of the external and back into their body as they try to process what you mean by that.

Every emotion has a place in your body where it sits, and that anxiety may present as a pain in the shoulder, a tightening in the solar plexus or gut, or maybe tight hips. Although these are the typical symptoms, everyone is individual, and it could present as anything. The purpose of being able to feel it in your body is to help you recognise anxieties as they start to rise, but you can take this a step further...
