Mother Nature awakens

Spring is a season of renewal, replenishment, and purification.

I encourage you to step outside and lose yourself in nature for a while. Signs of change are all around us; sometimes we just need to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the rhythm of the natural world.

Wildflowers are beginning to emerge along forest paths, road verges, and hedgerows - from delicate dog violets to bright celandines. The woodland air, though still damp, carries a freshness distinctly different from autumn’s earthy decay. Tiny seedlings scatter the forest floor, and the scent of wild garlic hints at something deeply restorative.

In sunlit pockets, bracken begins to unfurl, and trees - scarred and ancient pulse with life as sap rises, driving their great awakening.

Take a moment to be still. Feel your heartbeat align with the landscape around you. Notice the small things: voles and mice in motion, butterflies and beetles stirring, branches swaying, birds calling. You might spot the quiet industry of nest-building or a devoted partner tending to its mate.

When you allow yourself to become part of the landscape held gently by nature, you begin to sense her shift. Her awakening. Her unfolding into something new… perhaps even a kind of resurrection.

And in witnessing that, you may find something within yourself shifting too - renewed, replenished, and quietly transformed.
