Hello December

December can be a stressful time and financial burden for a lot of people, so make sure you take some time to breathe.

Wrap up warm and have a walk in nature, the trees are spectacular this time of year when they stand naked again the elements. You can see the true structure and every story they tell with scars, burrs and etchings.

We are entering a period of 'wintering' when our bodies begin to crave stillness by the fire, yet we find ourselves in overdrive with Christmas parties, shopping, and the rush to create the perfect day. For this reason, all the events I am hosting in December focus on nature and slowing down. On the 6th, we will walk along the Barton on Sea clifftop, still under the influence of the full moon, being near the sea can help calm that heightened energy. On the 14th, I will offer a members-only walk at Denny Wood, one of the oldest naturally regenerated woodlands in the forest, which is also wheelchair accessible, giving everyone a chance to pause and reset in nature. On the 29th, I will host a second members walk at Markway Inclosure, an easy stroll with beautiful views and trees rich in folklore tales.
