February Newsletter

February has certainly been a month for wellies and waterproofs, but some of you refuse to let the weather ruin a good walk! Thank you for joining me at Fritham (and risking your car in the terrible car park) and for an invigorating and exfoliating walk at Highcliffe.

In March, I look forward to a shift in the weather. Meanwhile, as the ground dries, we'll take a walk in Minstead to experience the quintessential New Forest village. We'll seek out folklore fairies, visit Arthur Conan Doyle's grave, and reflect on the gypsy community's deep ties to Minstead. We'll also admire the wild hedges, verges, and ancient oak trees. Naturally, no walk in Minstead is complete without spotting the donkeys.

I will also offer a free walk at Milkham for the Nature and Nurture subscribers. We'll experience the seasonal changes, from the bird chorus of woodland and heath birds to the flowering blackthorn and budding trees. This walk offers a variety of wildlife within the mixed woodland, heathlands, and bogs.

In March, we will hear the eruption of bird song as nesting season begins. On warmer days, early emerging butterflies may be seen on the wing searching for the first pollen of the season. Please allow your dandelions and celandines to bloom for the benefit of our early rising pollinators. Frogspawn and toad spawn are bubbling in ponds, and brown hares are racing through pastures. Crocuses are flowering, and chiffchaffs begin calling. Nature starts to awaken, so you might spot some basking reptiles on a warm day or bats taking flight at dawn and dusk.

Please be mindful when walking on heathlands too. March is the beginning of ground nesting season, so please stay on the paths and keep dogs under control to give these vulnerable birds the best chance.

During February, I offered the Trust in the Flow workshop. This is a really thought-provoking workshop that gives you an overview and understanding of our limitless capabilities as humans and how simple it is to tap into your intuition, healing, and connection with guides. I love holding this workshop and witnessing the results from therapists and complete novices alike. If you missed out, I will be offering it again in July.

I also conducted the second class of the year - Illuminating the Human Potential. We explored shadow work in depth, yielding some profound outcomes for participants. I appreciate your involvement, as confronting your shadows can be challenging, but I hope I provided insights on how to approach this with support, kindness, and gentleness towards yourself. In the third class in March, we will expand on this new awareness and explore the scientific and energetic connections with nature. You don't need to have attended the previous classes to join us for Illuminating Your Human Potential - Nature Connections. I've designed the classes to build on each other monthly, yet still be understandable for those who wish to select specific classes to attend. You have a choice of joining the in-person class in Andover, The New Forest, or Chichester.

Here is a list of subjects we will cover going forward through the year -

  • April - Tapping into your intuition. Where to find it and how to improve it.

  • May - Compassionate intentions. The power of interacting with universal energies beyond physical space.

  • June - Animal companions. Connecting with animals, how animal communication contributes to our development.

  • July - Manifestation. How to manifest your dreams into reality.

  • August - The different between soul and spirit and how to fulfil them.

  • September - Connecting with your guides. Wisdom and support from benevolent spirit to illuminate your human experience.

  • October - self regulating. Restoring balance and well-being without external intervention.

  • November - Shining your light. Using your human abilities to hold space and support others, with a chance to test your abilities with each other.

  • December - The floor is yours! Ask anything or share your observations about your human experience. Share what you have learnt, or what you would like to learn more about and lets see where the conversation takes us.

If you would like to catch up on the previous two classes, I have recorded condensed versions with PDF worksheets included in the online shop.

Come and create some balance in your life and quietly acknowledge spring on the Ostara meditation and energetic connections at Ibsley Village Hall. This is more than a meditation. I allow time for conversation and to ask me any questions or share your experiences of a spiritual nature, while we enjoy a warm drink and a sweet treat.

February has been energetically intense, leading many to confront realities in their lives they had previously avoided. This has resulted in severe headaches, eye problems, sinus infections, sore throats, and back issues. Through intuitive healing and nature therapy, I have helped individuals be gentle with themselves and address these challenges with compassion and safety. From this supportive space, new opportunities have emerged, and symptoms have diminished as I guide them towards their true, authentic path. This period encourages you to be genuine with yourself and others. If you're uncertain about how to proceed, seek a trusted friend or therapist who can support you compassionately and safely as you navigate towards a healthy, happy, and bright path.

Finally, I wanted to put it out there, that I am looking for someone who has animals, particularly horses that are good with people - plus other animals. I want to offer an animal healing workshop towards the end of June, so if you are interesting in your animals getting some free healing and happy to have a group of people come and spend the day at your small holding. I will provide everything needed, if you have somewhere we can boil a kettle and a toilet, I'd love to hear from you.

Warm wishes, Jen x
