The 'F' words
I felt that discussing the survival response would be timely, especially after experiencing a few months of intense energies. As an intuitive and nature therapist, I've observed these energies not only in my clients but also in my own behaviour. We are being prompted to address unresolved issues to allow room for change and positive new experiences. In the audio linked below, I will discuss four survival responses: fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. While the survival response

The Autumn Equinox
The autumn equinox, known as Mabon falls on the 22nd September and is one of the eight sabbats in the pagan wheel of the year. It is a period for reflecting on gratitude to invite abundance into your life. During the equinox, day and night are of equal length, prompting you to consider both the light and the dark aspects of your life.

The common of mast
On Monday, the pigs will be released for the pannage season. The common of mast is one of the traditional rights associated with specific land or properties, permitting the owner to let their pigs roam the forest for 60 nights starting in September, though the exact dates can vary each year. The pigs are released at this time because acorns and beech nuts (masts) fall from the trees. These masts are toxic to ponies and cattle, so the pigs play a crucial role in clearing the f

Hello September!
The tourist season is beginning to calm down, allowing us to relish the tranquillity of the forest again during the final days of favourable weather before the evenings become longer and darker. Drift season is in full swing, so please pay attention to signs and car park closures. Below is the drift schedule so you can know which areas to avoid on specific dates.

What is meant by spiritual bypassing?
Selecting a holistic practitioner or spiritual teacher requires more than just examining their professional attire and credentials. To find the right individual to collaborate with, it's essential to ensure they have genuinely invested in their own growth, speak and work from a place of truth and experience, and are committed to continually evolving on their personal journey. I believe that regulations should be stricter concerning spiritual and healing workshops. Both I and

Foraged Blackberry mousse recipe
Blackberries are the foragers superfood! Â They improving brain function, digestion and regulates blood sugar levels, while preventing cardiovascular disease and cancers. This sweet treat is a real taste of late summer and bring back great childhood memories for me as I used to pick the plumpest and juiciest blackberry which were often out of reach from horseback. I am sure blackberry picking brings back memories for most of you too.

The queen of the forest
The beech tree (Fagus Sylvatica) is my personal favorite, exuding feminine energy and a canopy reminiscent of a cathedral. It offers beauty in every season. During this time of year, it provides shade from the day's heat with its wide green leaves and developing nuts in its Mother phase. In Autumn, it puts on a display as its leaves turn yellow and then bronze. Transitioning from Mother to Crone, it sheds its leaves, revealing its wisdom, scars, and curves. You can sense its

Hello August
Wishing you all Lughnasadh blessings. I hope you get a moment to acknowledge the turn of the wheel in nature. August is a month of bounty, and we are certainly not short this year. Blackberries, crab apples and plums have been ripe for a month, and the rowan trees are dripping with ripe berries. Oak, beech, and hazel trees are laden heavy with nuts, and the sloes are turning purple way too soon!

Lughnasadh
Lughnasadh (pronounced Loo-na-sah) is a harvest festival, falling between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox within the wheel of the year. This harvest festival celebrates the first fruiting crops and is celebrated on or around 1st August. This fire festival is rooted deep in ancient culture to reflect on the hard work and sacrifice, and the bounty it produced. It was celebrated with athletic games, storytelling, making corn dollies, matchmaking, and rituals.

Talking with the animals!
Animal communication is something we are all capable of, in fact you do it all the time. As an animal intuitive healer and someone who has studied animal behaviour, I recognise that when people talk about animal communication, the ability gets lost in the spiritual language, as most would assume it means having a verbal conversation, but it is far more subtle, but also far more profound than that. Listen to the short audio below to find out more.
