We are almost at the end of January (finally!!) And we have had all sorts of weather, but we have still managed to get out on fully booked walks at Fritham and Boldre. During February, we will be walking at Blackwater tall trees to enjoy the mixed woodland and the ancient and natural woodland of Dennywood. Due to the bad weather last week, I had to move the Spiritual and sacred sites walk at Breamore to this Friday (31st) and there are still spaces available and the weather is looking favourable!

In January, I hosted a wonderful workshop on understanding the fundamentals of energy healing. It's truly gratifying to see people begin to connect with their energy fields and realise that these simple exercises can enhance not only their own intuition and healing but also assist those around them. Often, people seek an external "thing" to find that connection, only to discover it's something they've always had within them. Spirituality and self-connection have been unnecessarily complicated by commercial interests.

I am committed to making the connection to oneself and other frequencies straightforward and accessible, breaking down the barriers and language that hinder our spiritual growth. Join us for the energy flow conversation on February 15th to deepen your knowledge and awareness, or take advantage of my 1-1 sessions to assist you in any way I can. There is no set structure for this time; you can use it to your benefit. Check out here to support your spiritual path.
In February, the drumming of greater spotted woodpeckers will become noticeable as they begin to establish their territories. Song thrushes will accompany you with their melodies during woodland walks, and certain woodland birds like great tits and blue tits will start practicing their calls on sunny February days. Frogspawn should be filling the ponds and snowdrops, crocuses, and daffodils will begin to emerge from the ground. Wild garlic leaves will start to appear in the ancient woodlands, and spurge will begin to grow along woodland paths.

After a few months of the Nature and Nurture membership, I've listened to your feedback and have introduced an online-only membership. This is for those of you who follow the page (thank you) but aren't nearby to enjoy the free guided walks and discounted events, or who can't attend our in-person events but still wish to enhance your knowledge of nature, wildlife, and well-being. Click on the image below to learn more about the membership options.
In February, I will explore the fire festival of Imbolc, examining the natural rhythms and cycles, and the connections with Goddess Brigid, to easily incorporate this energy into our lives for well-being. A brief meditation will help anchor nature's changes into your energy field. We'll expand on the knowledge of the birch tree and the woodpecker, and I'll provide an audio guide on enhancing sleep, dream states, and intention setting through dreams. I'll also share foraged recipes, folklore, and any other insights that emerge throughout the month.

An Ode to Brigid
Gaia is pregnant with her seeds of life,
Catkins and snowdrops spark hopes of light.
Woodpeckers knock trees, awakening the boughs,
As we come together to honour our vows.
Goddess of wells, Goddess of fire,
Water new growth, and forge our desires.
Goddess of wells, Goddess of fire,
Water new growth, and forge our desires.
The poets in nature start to create,
Through songs, calls, and dance, they charm a mate.
The earth is thawing, where roots grow strong,
Right here in this moment is where I belong.
Goddess of wells, Goddess of fire,
Water new growth, and forge our desires.
Goddess of wells, Goddess of fire.
Water new growth, and forge our desires.
Imbolc brings momentum of a change,
As Brigid burns fire, to clear the ways.
The milk of Mother is starting to flow,
As life starts to stretch from its slumber below.
Goddess of wells, Goddess of fire,
Water new life, and forge our desires.
Goddess of wells, Goddess of fire,
Water new life, and forge our desires.
