This is an easy 2.5 mile walk on village lanes and footpaths lined with wild hedges and ancient oak trees with quaint new forest cottages. This can be walked all year round, with an interesting Norman Church where you will find the grave of Arthur Conan-Doyle. 
There is no public transport to Minstead.
