September was such a beautiful month of walking. Autumn has started to show its colours and we have have been bathed in glorious golden light.

Moving into October, I will now be offering the guided walks for free. Please still book your space on the events page as they will be limited. During October, we will be walking at Queens Bower and maybe catch the echoing and haunting sound of rutting deer. We will also be walking amongst the beautiful mixed woodlands near Millyford Bridge to enjoy the changing colours of the season.
Energy healing
It seems a poignant time for people to take massive steps in their lives. I have been a support just recently for people who have stepped into their bravest self and walked away from a negative relationship. walked out of a job or, up and moved house as their pervious ways of living had simply become too unbearable. Although there was a need for change in all of these scenarios, sometimes making such a drastic change so quickly can bring a whole load of extra trauma to deal with mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

It is really important for me to work, quietly and encouragingly in these situations by simply holding space to allow them to be heard, seen and understood. Healing happens in layers, and these big shifts can't be "fixed" in one healing session. Each one of these brave people are coming on a journey of healing and self realisation with me with profound results, by booking the supporting the spiritual path session with me and every one of them require something different. There is no "one size fits all" with healing, after all, everyone's traumas, lives, and experiences are different to the next
Wildlife to see during October
October is full of wonder in the New Forest, with rutting deer, pannage pigs, fruiting fungi and changing colours.

Fieldfares and redwings will start to arrive and October is a great time to try and spot the tiny, but exuberant goldcrests and firecrests amongst the conifer trees. This time of year, the numbers increase as some arrive here for winter. Badgers, foxes, mice and voles are taking an extra chance with the abundance of berries, nuts and seeds as they stock up a winter store. Tawny owls are very vocal right now, as the young birds that fledged this year are ruffling feathers by trying to dominate new territories, and hedgehogs are active too, feeding themselves up before finding a safe spot in your garden to hibernate.

Please be mindful this time of year, to check bonfires before lighting, not to put hedgehogs in danger. Please give rutting deer plenty of space, not to disturb them and to keep yourselves safe
Become a Nature and Nurture Member.
I am sure it hasn't gone unnoticed, that I have made some changes to New Forest Nature and Nurture, and I have had a lot of wonderfully supportive messages and emails asking why the change?
It has always been a vision to make nature and wellness accessible to all, regardless of financial limitations. as I have first hand experience of not being able to financially support the journey I wanted to take, but I still got there, albeit a little less of a straight road! This has been an idea bubbling in the background for a few years, but Forestry England gave me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and make the change happen. Their fees have became unreasonable, and I found it so unsettling to see inspiring, local people with a love for the forest have to give up their businesses or adapt to make way for the large events companies who are the only businesses that can justify the fees.
But, taking guided walks runs deeper within me than just earning money, its a place where people make friends, learn about the forest, folklore and history and creates such profound inspiration, and improved well-being, and I do not want to stop witnessing that. So through my sadness, I decided to rebrand and expand my offerings to include more affordable options for everyone to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the New Forest. Come and experience the healing power of nature, where relaxation and rejuvenation await you with free guided walks, discounted services and events and an access all areas to the website, where I will share regular blogs and audios about nature, wildlife and spirituality. The membership costs less than £2 per week, and with enough support, I can provide more free or minimal fee events for all, while continuing to support local businesses through events and collaborations.

Thank you so much for continuing the journey with me. and thank you to those who have already signed up to the membership. Take a browse through the website, there have been many changes with the new launch which includes a shop. It may be a little sparse right now, but I will continue to add to it with each new creation.
With love, Jen x
