A sensory journey through nature.

A stroll through the lush, timeworn forest, brimming with sounds and delights.
The wind shimmeredthrough the trees mimicking the sound of waves rolling over the ocean, while the crackling and crunching underfoot were inevitable on the parched forest floor. Walkers engaged in cheerful chats, and dogs barked eagerly for a ball to be tossed. A cuckoo sang from the trees, and stonechats shouted from the gorse.

Blues and whites dominated the colours of wildflowers and blossom, from mayflower to rowan flower, speedwell and bugles, and dandelion seeds delicately danced on the breeze where fallows rested in pastures and ponies forages the mires.
I stepped along the verge to quiet my steps, and the scent of sweet, young pine and hawthorn carried on the breeze.

The sun cast dappled and shaded patterns on the bark of these ancient trees, while years of lichen clung to the fence of the pony pound, where a constant hum from bees feeding on the nectar-rich trees could be heard.
Swiftly, the scenery shifted from green hues to a prominent bright blue sky as I wandered past the standing, lifeless woodland, submerged by the stream. Although the stream was stagnant in the arid landscape, it still offered the ideal habitat for the water crowfoot to flourish.

Under the vibrant blue sky, butterflies and dragonflies accompanied me for the remainder of my walk, basking and feeding, while the sound of demanding nests filled the tree canopy.
A sensory journey experienced through the sights, sounds, and aromas.
