About the event

This 8.25

mile walk is more of a meander on mostly flat but uneven ground

with plenty of time to stop. observe and discuss the many important habitats of the New Forest. You will learn about the sensitive areas and the threats they face and what we can do to support them and the wildlife that lives among them.

This walk does go a little 'off piste' getting deep into the woodland to visit a couple of well hidden ancient trees, we will walk a mix of woodlands and learning about the benefits of these special habitats along with visiting heaths, ponds, bogs and historical sites. We will stop for a well earnt drink at a pub along the way, but bring a packed lunch, we will be out most of the day.

Due to the nature of this walk and visiting sensitive areas no dogs permitted and I will only be taking  a handful of people so book soon. £20 per person, RSVP to book or contact me for more details.
