We are nature.

Nature is a vital part of our well-being. When we disconnect from nature, we are disconnecting from a part of us.

We are not separate from nature. We are nature! This is where we evolved from and every other living thing is guided by its intuition and the rythmns of the seasons, the planetary pull and tides. So what makes us so different?

Nothing other than we have forgotten how to use these simple and innate gifts, being the "intelligent species"

We live in such a fast-paced world with instant access to whatever we desire. It is no longer about the journey but always the instant result. By slowing down, opening our senses to our surroundings, we become more self-aware, more curious, grounded, calmer. Our nervous system rests, and our minds quiet. It lowers our blood pressure and improves our mood while boosting our immune system.

It doesn't matter where you are. You can go to the woods, a park, by the sea or a river or even your back garden. But studies have suggested that at least 3 hours a month in nature will provide you with these positive effects on your well-being and will stay with you for at least 7 days after.

So turn off your phone and find yourself a gorgeous spot in nature, have a seat, and just be!

If you would like to take time to do this in the safety of a small group and guidance, why not join me for a monthly Nature therapy walk?
