On a rainy, autumnal day there is nothing more to do than make delicious pumpkin, squash and orange soup 😋 (if you want the recipe let me know) so it was appropriate I saw this post on another site. What a great idea!
Please don't put your pumpkins out on the forest when you have finished with them however you think you are doing good, we need to remember pumpkins don't grow naturally on the forest, so they can make the ponies and cattle ill. They can also cause problems for your garden wildlife. Giving hedgehogs severe diarrhoea which can send them into hibernation underweight and dehydrated. So please dispose of them sensibly and maybe some other farmers would adopt this way of recycling?
Well done Sopley Farm 👍
